Gary Ferguson
Executive Artistic Director
Gary Ferguson has done it all—Broadway, national and international tours, cruise ships, theme parks, and even Radio City Music Hall with the Rockettes. After years of performing around the world, he found his true home in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he’s spent the last 20 years teaching, choreographing, directing, and collaborating with some of the most incredible artists and theater companies in the region.
Along the way, Gary has coached national championship-winning dance teams, taught in public and private schools, served on theatre boards, and worked with students of all ages in local colleges and community programs. He’s known not just for his artistic vision, but for his ability to make any room feel electric, inclusive, and full of possibility.
When it came time to open his own performing arts school, Gary knew exactly what he wanted: a place where everyone feels welcome. Coastal Currents Conservatory was built to be a safe, joyful, and judgment-free zone—where creativity flows, confidence grows, and students of all ages can discover their voice.
Don’t expect to find Gary tucked away in an office. He’s the loud one laughing next door, the first to cheer you on, and the last to leave the studio. At Coastal Currents, you’ll find world-class training—but even more importantly, you’ll find a community that lifts you up.

Liliana Davidovich
Associate Artistic Director-Dance
Liliana is a joyful, high-energy dance instructor with over 10 years of experience in early childhood education. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she brings creativity, warmth, and a deep understanding of child development to every class she teaches. A lifelong performer, Liliana was a competitive dancer throughout high school and college, trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Hip Hop. She’s also a competitive aerialist with expertise in hoop but has trained in silks and hammock—because staying still just isn’t her thing! Liliana teaches dance and creative movement to children of all ages, including toddlers under 3, using music, rhythm, and imaginative play to make every class a fun and enriching experience. She also works closely with SDC (Special Day Class) students, ensuring her classes are inclusive, adaptive, and supportive for every child. Her teaching philosophy centers on finding the joy in dance—as both an expressive art and a dynamic sport—and helping each dancer build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of movement.

Keira Robalino
Director of Operations
Keira has dedicated most of her life to non-profit organizations and brings over 25 years of experience in children’s theatre administration. She thrives behind the scenes—crafting complex budgets, building solid systems, and yes, delighting in the perfect office supply.
What truly drives her is watching young people light up through the arts. She believes in the transformative power of theatre and the lifelong confidence and creativity it fosters.
